  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
  2. Add another tablespoon of oil to the skillet; toss in the green beans. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  3. Mix in minced garlic and ginger; sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour over chicken and green beans; stir well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
