  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually alternate adding the dry ingredients and sour cream to the butter mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, add remaining batter, and top with more cinnamon-sugar before gently swirling with a knife.
  7. Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a plate.
