  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Melt the salted butter in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped pecans and toast briefly; set aside to cool.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together icing sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
