  • all-purpose flour
  • baking powder
  • cinnamon
  • granulated sugar
  • light brown sugar
  • unsweetened applesauce
  • vegetable oil
  • milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix the applesauce, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and milk until well combined.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar topping on top. Add the remaining batter and finish with the rest of the topping.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
