  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ cup sliced green onions
  • ½ cup shredded carrots (optional)
  • 1 soft-boiled egg, halved (optional)
  • Sesame seeds & nori strips, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Add your sliced chicken and toss until well-coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken strips and cook for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In another saucepan, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, adding salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Bring a pot of water to boil and cook your ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
  5. Divide ramen noodles into serving bowls, spoon creamy garlic sauce over each, layer on the fiery chicken strips, and top with sliced green onions, optional shredded carrots, and soft-boiled egg.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and nori strips.
