  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold and cubed for the crust; melted for the topping)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. For the crust, combine flour, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press into the prepared pan and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.
